Cookie Preferences

Last updated: June 9, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how rothmere.co, operated by Jordan Global LLC ("Rothmere," "we," "us," "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. Read this together with our Privacy Policy and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information notice.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, items in your cart, or whether you are logged in.

We also use similar technologies, including:

  • Web beacons / pixels — tiny invisible images used to track page views or email opens.
  • Local storage — browser storage for site preferences and session data.
  • Server logs — technical records of requests made to our servers.

For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

(a) Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the site to function. Without them, you cannot browse products, add items to your cart, log into your account, or complete a purchase. They cannot be disabled.

Examples:

  • Session cookies set by Shopify to maintain your shopping cart
  • Authentication cookies for customer account login
  • Checkout and payment processing cookies
  • Security cookies to detect fraudulent activity
  • Load-balancing cookies to distribute traffic across our servers

(b) Functional Cookies

These cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience. They are not essential, but disabling them may reduce site functionality.

Examples:

  • Language and region preferences
  • Currency display preferences
  • Recently viewed products
  • Saved wishlist items (when account-bound)

(c) Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect anonymized information about how visitors use our site — pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, device type. We use this data to understand and improve site performance.

Service used: Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

What's collected:

  • Pages viewed and order of navigation
  • Time spent on each page
  • Referring URL (which site sent you to us)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Approximate geographic location (city-level, derived from IP address)
  • Anonymized identifier to count unique visits

We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors by name or contact information.

(d) Marketing and Advertising Cookies

These cookies are used to deliver relevant advertising on rothmere.co and on third-party sites you visit after leaving us. They also help us measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Services used:

  • Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing audiences
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) — conversion tracking and audience building (when active)
  • Shop Pay — expedited checkout across Shopify stores

What's collected:

  • Identifiers (cookie IDs, advertising IDs)
  • Pages you viewed and products you considered
  • Whether you completed a purchase
  • Approximate location and device information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, this constitutes "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out (see Section 5).

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on rothmere.co are set by third parties (services we use, not by us directly). Examples include cookies from:

  • Shopify (our e-commerce platform)
  • Shopify Payments and PayPal (payment processors)
  • Google (analytics and advertising)
  • Meta (advertising, when active)

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing them if you have specific concerns about how they use your data.

4. How Long Cookies Last

Cookies fall into two general categories based on lifespan:

  • Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period, ranging from 30 days (typical for analytics) to 12 months (typical for advertising), unless you delete them sooner.

5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You have several ways to control cookies and similar tracking:

(a) Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signal

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we will automatically treat it as an opt-out of marketing and advertising cookies, and we will not share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To enable GPC, use a browser or extension that supports it (Brave, Firefox with extension, DuckDuckGo browser, Privacy Badger, etc.).

(b) Cookie Banner

The first time you visit rothmere.co, a banner appears asking you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your selection at any time by clearing your browser cookies for rothmere.co and revisiting the site — the banner will reappear.

(c) Browser Settings

All modern browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:

  • Block all cookies (may break site functionality)
  • Block third-party cookies only
  • Delete cookies when you close the browser
  • Receive a prompt before accepting cookies

Browser-specific guides:

(d) Industry Opt-Out Tools

For advertising cookies specifically:

(e) Direct Opt-Out by Email

Email support@rothmere.co with the subject "Cookie Opt-Out Request". Include the email address used on any orders or account so we can apply the opt-out to your record. We will process within 15 business days.

6. Cookies and Your Legal Rights

Cookie data is personal information under several laws:

  • Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) — you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of cookie-derived data, and to request access or deletion. See our Do Not Sell or Share notice.
  • Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if you are in the European Union or United Kingdom — you have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and to request access, deletion, correction, and portability of your data. Contact support@rothmere.co to exercise these rights.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for how DNT should be interpreted, rothmere.co does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which has been adopted as the standard mechanism under the CCPA (see Section 5(a) above).

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our use of cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a banner notice on the site for at least 30 days after the change.
